In this series of five workshops, early childhood educators Raya and McKinley will lead kids through fun-filled and enriching themed experiences that support creative expression through exploration. These workshops are not just educational and entertaining, but are a celebration of curiosity, creativity, and friendship. From arts and crafts to interactive storytelling, from music and movement to cooking, there will be something for every child to enjoy and learn from.

Nature Wonderland & Fairy Homes Summer Camp
Come play outside, imagine, design and create an amazing miniature fairy habitat in the forest! Homes will be crafted with materials found in nature and will include everything a special fairy will need to stay comfortable. Children will make their own enchanting fairies, friends and pets who can live inside their dwellings.

Chloe Brisson Band at our Concerts on the Green
The Chloe Brisson Band is a 5-piece blues-rock band featuring some of the Green Mountain State's finest musicians. Led by vocalist and songwriter Chloe Louise Brisson, the group brings primarily original music to the stage, with a few well-placed covers that give a nod to her musical influences. Inspired by her varied experiences both in conservatory, and working in the sugarwoods of VT, Brisson's compositional voice speaks to themes of identity, growth, agency, and perseverance while remaining joyful and danceable.

Popstar Camp
In this week-long day camp, we’ll take a close look at our favorite pop, rock, and country music stars to see if we can crack the formula of their success. We’ll explore the history and influences that have shaped the world of popular music and its performers, then use what we’ve learned to write our own original songs, practice stage performance techniques, dream up star-worthy fashion looks, and even produce our own music videos!

All Night Boogie Band at our Concerts on the Green
All Night Boogie Band is a blues, rock & roll, and soul-inspired band hailing from the Green Mountains of Burlington, Vermont. Formed in late 2021, the young yet experienced quintet expresses a unique sound full of originality, vigor, and dedication to the resonance of great American music.
All Night Boogie Band won “Vermont Rising Stars” in the 2023 New England Music Awards and were nominated for “Best Blues Artist” in the 2023 Seven Daysies Awards. They won Vermont’s 2023 Blues Challenge, and were Semifinalists at the Blues Foundation’s International Blues Challenge in Memphis, Tennessee in January 2023.

Seth Yacovone Band at our Concerts on the Green
“VT’s Hardest Hitting Power Trio” Seth Yacovone Band has been a fixture of the Vermont music scene since 1995. The band started when Yacovone was 16 and evolved from a straight blues band to becoming a more open ended and rock-oriented sound. The current lineup, consisting of Steve Hadeka, Alex Budney and Seth Yacovone, have been making some of the best music of the band’s existence, becoming an improvisational, heavy blues rock trio, power charging Yacovone’s original songs. The band has released 8 albums, toured America and Italy, opened for and or shared the stage with acts such as Ray Charles, BB King, Phish, Neville Bros, Dr. John, Johnny Winter among others.

Playing with Color Workshop
Join us for an art-making exploration of some ways our perception of color influences how we make and appreciate art. Using color-focused art projects, we will learn about our own color vision and how our brains process visual information. Along the way, we’ll play with contrasting and equiluminant colors, ultimately coming to better understand how our brains shape our perceptions as artists and art lovers.
Taught by teaching artist and science writer, Rachel Mirus. Students will need paper and a colored media of their choice, like color pencils, brush pens, or pastels. Some extra materials will be available.

Scratch Paint Spiderwebs Workshop
As intricate and delicate structures, spiderwebs are visually fascinating subjects for art. In this workshop, we will explore an unconventional approach to capturing webs using acrylic scratch paint. Participants will learn how to prepare DIY scratch paint from any acrylic paint, test different scratch tools, and make their own web illustration. This class will emphasize the fun of artistic exploration and experimentation, include tips and advice for best results, all while appreciating the beauty of spiderwebs!
Taught by teaching artist and science writer, Rachel Mirus. Materials will be provided.
Open to individual adult/teen artists and family groups - kids are welcome! Students in middle school and above may participate as individuals.

We are so excited to welcome the Krishna Guthrie Band to the Green! The Guthrie family story is interwoven into the fabric of American music. While Krishna Guthrie incorporates elements of his lineage, from the folk roots of his great-grandfather, Woody, to the masterful storytelling of his grandfather, Arlo, he’s not afraid of adding influences from his own generation (rock, blues and other modern influences) as he carves his own initials in the family tree. The Krishna Guthrie Band is a collection of like-minded individuals, who value what music offers to the world and strive to make each show better than the last. Bobby Maguire (fiddle), Nicky Fitz (drums), and Josh Cote (bass, vox) blend their various music experiences together to create a musical tapestry on which Krishna weaves his stories. Glassmaking Art Camp (August Session)
Practice the mesmerizing art of glassmaking! In this week-long camp, students will hone their skills at glass fusing, sculpting, and blowing under the guidance of glass artist Sam Lightner in her on-site studio.
Glass fusing involves melting and slumping glass in the intense heat of a kiln to create art pieces and practical objects, combining colors and incorporating recycled materials to create beautiful and ecologically sound art. In glass sculpting, learn to twist and cut glass into flowers, feathers, worrystones, and more, layering molten glass and using tools to create a final piece. After learning the basics, students will have the opportunity to make cups and other blown objects, using breath to make functional art.
Ages: Grades 3-8

Strong horns layer with the golden voice of Miriam Bernardo, with rich melodies of keys and strings built over a rock solid rhythm section.
This deep groove outfit is composed of long-time members of the Burlington musical community, who are current or former members of groups such as Steady Betty, Afinque, Michelle Sarah Band, Mal Maiz, Japhy Ryder, Myra Flynn’s FLYNN, Barika, and many others.

We are excited to welcome the VT Bluegrass Pioneers to the Green! Rooted in the hard-driving tradition of first-generation bluegrass, the Pioneers share lead and harmony vocals, and in a unique twist Dan and Danny alternate on banjo and rhythm guitar. Their goal is to find the heart and soul of every song they perform and deliver it with passion to their listeners. We think they achieve that goal, but come see for yourselves!
