CROSS COUNTRY SKIING

Vermont, and this valley, in particular, seems to have been carefully crafted by the gods of winter to raise cross-country skiing to perfection.

You will find a variety of terrains and trails within a few minutes of the Featherbed Inn, outside our door in 800 acres of woods and meadows. Ten minutes of driving will take you to Blueberry Lake, Ole’s, and the Sugarbush Golf Course.

Further away but worth the extra time if you have exhausted the local spots are numerous options at Stowe, including the Trapp Family Lodge, the nations' first cross-country ski center, and many other around the region.
