FARMERS MARKET & FESTIVALS

Every Saturday from the middle of May through the middle of October, your cup will runneth over at the Waitsfield Farmers Market. From the Mad River Valley and beyond you'll find local produce of every variety, baked goods, scrumptious prepared foods, local honeys and spirits, crafts and art, lotions and potions, live entertainment.

Every Wednesday evening throughout the summer, locals and visitors gather behind Waitsfield's historic covered bridge for the Round-Up on the River, to listen and dance to live music, sit on the bank of the Mad River to eat terrific food from food trucks and local businesses, swim in the river, and people watch. It's hard to say what the best thing is about visiting the Mad River Valley during the summer, but the Round-Up might be that thing. It's certainly a compelling reason to visit mid-week.
