HIKING

Hiking the Vermont Long Trail

This Valley is a cornucopia of hiking possibilities, from easy strolls to challenging treks.  A perfect place to start is right from the inn, taking the Featherbed Connector to the Revolution Trail to wind your way up Dana Hill and beyond.  A section of The Catamount Trail offers an open traverse of the rolling Sugarbush Golf Course with beautiful views, and a meander through the woods of the Mad River Valley.

Waterfalls are also a favorite of ours, with the closest being Warren Falls, Moss Glen Falls, and Texas Falls - all beautiful and easy to get to.

Mount Abraham, Sunset Rock, Burnt Rock, and Camel’s Hump offer a bit more of a challenge rewarded by great views, and there are really many too many others to describe here - we're happy to talk with you about where to go.
