PADDLING

Canoe, kayak, or paddleboard on the Mad or Winooski Rivers. The lower Mad River, usually a Class II, cranks up to a Class III/IV with the snow melt in the spring. Or flat-water paddling is possible at the Waterbury Reservoir and Blueberry Lake. Rentals and tours are available; we’d be happy to connect you with folks who can set you up.
